Who is Jesse Lacey?

Jesse Thomas Lacey is an American singer, composer, and record producer. Born on July 10, 1978, Jesse has gained a reputation for being mysterious and private.

Lacey’s family consists of seven siblings, one of whom works as a teacher, while another, Cody Lacey, serves in the United States Navy. 

Additionally, his brother Jamey Lacey is a member of the band Coasta. His father pursues a career as a nurse.

His musical journey started as the founding bassist of the group Taking Back Sunday. However, personal conflicts with guitarist John Nolan led him to leave the band. 

Before the establishment of Brand New, Lacey attended Nassau Community College on Long Island, where he studied child psychology and elementary education for three years.

His creativity extends beyond music and has contributed to the visual aesthetic of the band’s body of work.

He gained his reputation as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the American alternative rock band Brand New.
